No shame at all. You do you boo! But OKOTA is probably not best for you, and that’s okay, if… you do not view photography as one of the most important aspects of your day, and aren’t wanting to invest accordingly. If you don’t really mind what the photos look like as long as you have a few decent ones of the big moments of the day, and you’re fine with a gallery that doesn’t include any details or emotional photos. Again, every couple has the right to prioritize their budget and time however they would like, and that is totally fine :)

I would describe my style as genuine, curated candids, with just enough guidance to make my couples feel confident and seen. My photography shines in natural light to make the imagery true to the bright, cheerful, fairytale-like day I’m capturing. I edit true to color for a timeless look. My couples typically choose elegant, classic looks in mostly neutrals so their love really is what shines above all in the photos. And I photograph in a way that is not intrusive, and love to make my interactions for these photos a fun process rather than a tedious photoshoot keeping you from your party any longer than necessary!

I can help as much or as little as you would like! Fun fact, I got my certification as an international wedding planner to bolster what I could offer my OKOTA couples. I felt that because photography drives so much of the day it would be advantageous for me to know all of the ins and outs of wedding planning! I was even a day of coordinator for 9 years, so I am happy to help! OKOTA Couples never have to hesitate to reach out for an email, call, zoom, or to stop by the studio to have me answer questions for you! Also, all OKOTA Couples receive their own client portal… usually their wedding planners/parents love it too! All the contracts, invoices, and forms in one place you can access any time. Including a form I’ll send you 2 months out that goes over in detail all the things you’re wanting captured on wedding day, that we’ll go over at your final details meeting, and I’ll use to create a timeline of your whole day! I don’t really replace a wedding planner or coordinator, but having that knowledge and background in my tool belt makes things that much smoother when working with alllll your vendors on wedding day!

Not only can we, I actually prefer it! You can see my work in person, get to know me, see my studio (and that I’m actually legit), and in person I feel like we can really get a vibe if we are a good fit for one another for your wedding day! Plus, I’m in the heart of downtown Covington, so definitely make it a date night after! Need recs? I’ve got a whole list of great spots in the area!!

I’m slightly obsessed with Pinterest, and you betcha I’ve got boards for every season, dos, don’ts, and more. I’ll send these to you so you know what photographs best, and it gets you started on what to plan for attire. Feel free to email/text me to run outfit ideas by me! I also have apps that tell me sunset times and sky indexes for any date on the calendar (yes, slightly nerdy; but helpful!!) so I’ll be able to tell you exactly when to get on my calendar for the photos of your dreams. You also get full access to my calendar to book whenever works best for you. No back and forth for dates! Looking at a specific location? I’m happy to coordinate booking it if necessary, or looking for a specific look? I’m happy to make location suggestions. I’m happy to help every step of the way, and if you already have the date, location, outfits you want that’s great too, and I’ll just meet you there to photograph it all beautifully!

While I love photographing weddings in Cincinnati being Cincy-based myself, I also travel across Ohio (OH), Kentucky (KY), and beyond…My photography work has taken me as far as Santorini, Paris, Mexico, and all across the US. Travel fees are calculated accordingly, but I handle all the travel accommodations for myself to take that off your plate. You should only be focusing on flights to your honeymoon, girl!
